The Omnigo roof mounted wheelchair hoist is designed to be operated by an independent user of a folding manual wheelchair without the need for assistance – loading the wheelchair securely and safely onto the roof of your car via an articulated 12v motorised arm. The control toggle switch is positioned near the vehicles steering wheel for ease of use by the driver. The Omnigo features an impressive lifting capacity of 26kg which is more than many other popular roof mounted wheelchair lifts in Australia, whilst only weighing in at 14kg.
Taking just 35 seconds to load and 24 seconds to unload, the Omnigo wheelchair lift provides the driver of the vehicle with fast access to their wheelchair. Unlike other wheelchair hoists available on the Australian market, the Omnigo uses a fixed motorised arm to raise and retrieve the wheelchair rather than a winch cable – this means the wheelchair remains still and secure throughout the entire process of loading unloading from your vehicle.
